On Thursday, Google-owned YouTube announced that “many” customers’ reported crashes in the iOS app had been resolved.
The video-streaming service tweeted from its TeamYouTube account: “Hello, we’re aware that the YouTube app for iOS devices may be crashing for many of you. We sincerely apologise about this and are already working on a fix! soon updates”
Later, it asserted that all the problems had been resolved.

Over 8,000 users in the US reported various crash problems to DownDetector, an online tool for monitoring website outages.
A number of people reported the problems on the microblogging service Twitter.

The video-sharing website experienced a global outage in April of this year as users reported a number of problems, including obtaining error messages while attempting to watch movies and logging complications.
Additionally, YouTube users have reported difficulties using website features including the sidebar navigation, changing accounts, and the Setting menus.
