Organizations will be able to determine which Twitter accounts are linked to them thanks to Twitter. On Sunday, Elon Musk tweeted the announcement. Additionally, Musk stated that Twitter will certify the organisations.
He stated in a tweet that “Twitter will soon make it possible for corporations to determine which other Twitter accounts are genuinely connected to them.”
One Twitter user who saw the announcement asked Musk if Twitter would judge which accounts belonged to organisations and which ones did not.
Musk responded, “I think there is no choice except for Twitter to be the final arbiter, but I’m open to suggestions,” in response.
Elon Musk has not disclosed the criteria used to evaluate official accounts. However, the Twitter Blue subscription could also include this additional function. As a result of several paying accounts abusing the blue tick verified symbol, Twitter has temporarily turned back the subscription service. Additionally, Twitter Blue for new Twitter accounts is no longer permitted by the corporation.
Twitter accounts created on or after November 9, 2022 won’t be able to subscribe to Twitter Blue at this time, the business stated in its blog.
The cost to get Twitter Blue is $7.99. (roughly around Rs 650). Twitter’s pricing will be adjusted in accordance with the purchasing power parities of various nations, as Musk had stated. The function, however, has a price tag of Rs 719, which is far higher than the adjusted price of between Rs 150 and Rs 200. This was discovered by several Indian users.
