Oracle on Thursday said its multi-Cloud products, which are just out of the oven, can assist the public sector and state governments transition to the cloud more quickly and effectively as India’s government intensifies efforts to modernise its infrastructure in the digital era.
Oracle has two multi-Cloud products that have gained significant popularity in the commercial sector: the database service for Microsoft Azure and the “One MySQL” database service for Amazon Web Services (AWS).
The multi-Cloud products are in high demand among government stakeholders as well, claims Prasad Rai, Vice President of Global Strategic Clients Group of Oracle India.
“As governments and the public sector have invested in a variety of different technologies, multi-cloud makes a lot of sense for them. They won’t need to bother with completely rewriting it for the cloud when they migrate those to it. They’ll begin using the cloud in a multi-cloud scenario “Rai said to IANS.
With its multi-cloud solutions, Oracle, a longtime partner of the Indian public sector and state governments, is now able to assist them in moving their workloads much more effectively.
In order to connect to high-performance and high-availability managed Oracle Database services, such as Autonomous Database running on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, users can now move to or create new applications on Azure (OCI).
