New Delhi, May 13 (KNN) B.B Swain, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) Secretary inaugurated the HDPE Pipe Testing Facility at National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) and the Mega Job Fair’ on Friday in New Delhi.
The main aim of the grand job fair is to provide employment opportunities to the students who are finishing their courses and passing out from the Centre.
Speaking on the occasion, MSME Secretary Swain said the skill development training should be industry-focused and demand-oriented.
Congratulating everyone including the NSIC – NTSC Okhla team for organizing the ‘Enterprise India Mega Job Fair’ after a pandemic period to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment, he also appreciated the benefits of adding the new HDPE Pipe Testing Facility in NSIC Technical Services Centre Okhla.
Present at the inaugural event, Shailesh Kumar Singh, AS&DC, MSME said the fair would facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placement.
Highlighting the aim of NSIC Technical Centre, Alka Arora, CMD, NSIC said, “This Mega Job Fair is the first offline job fair organized by NSIC after a pandemic period to facilitate the trainees of the Centre for their employment through campus placements.”
More than 30 companies including renowned companies like LG Electronics, Munjal Showa (Hero Honda Group), JBM Group, Maxop, and SPM Auto Comp, were present with various job offers.
During the last 6-7 years more than 70,000 trainees have been trained by the Centre and many of them have been successfully placed in the industry through campus placements.
