Thierry Bolloré, the CEO of Jaguar Land Rover, has left the firm for personal reasons, Tata Motors announced on Wednesday. Tata Motors’ wholly-owned subsidiary JLR was founded. On December 31, 2022, Bolloré resigned owing to personal reasons. He was chosen to lead JLR as CEO in September 2020.
Bolloré expressed his pride in what “we have accomplished together at Jaguar Land Rover over the previous two years” in his departure speech. According to him, the company is transforming and accelerating toward a prosperous, sustainable future as a modern luxury enterprise.
He congratulated the entire organisation on its success and commended the entire crew for their hard work and enthusiasm.
Thierry was recognised by Tata Sons Chairman Chandrasekaran for all that he had accomplished at Jaguar Land Rover. The company is now well prepared for the future thanks to the foundations for a successful transition that have been put in place, he added.
As of right now, Adrian Mardell will serve as acting CEO. Adrian has worked for Jaguar Land Rover for 32 years, and for the past three, he has served on the Executive Board.
