In the third ground-breaking event in Uttar Pradesh, projects comprising around 865 MSME units worth Rs 3586 crore would be established, taking another step toward making the state a major economy and creating jobs.
According to an official spokeswoman, the third groundbreaking event would see the inauguration of 1,500 projects valued at more than Rs 75,000 crore.
The micro, small, and medium businesses (MSME) sector will contribute around Rs 3586 crore to this total. This alone will result in almost 48,766 job openings in the state.
Meerut will have the greatest number of MSME units, with an investment of Rs 702 crore providing 13,985 job possibilities.
Meerut will have about 283 units, followed by Ayodhya, which would have roughly 128 units with a total investment of Rs 915 crore. Over 5991 job opportunities would be created through MSMEs.
The ceremony will see the launch of Adani (NS:APSE) and Hiranandani companies’ Rs 4,900-crore and Rs 9,100-crore data centres, respectively, as well as Microsoft’s Rs 2,100-crore software development centres (NASDAQ:MSFT).
Many more textile, tourist, energy, food processing, and pharmaceutical initiatives will also be established.
