After announcing the introduction of Android 13, Google stated that over 250 million active devices each month run Android Go (Go edition).
The tech behemoth put a lot of emphasis on three key features of Android 13: dependability, usability, and customization.
Go devices now have access to Google Play System updates, which makes it easier to ensure that gadgets are regularly updated with crucial software.
According to the manufacturer, the Go edition has intelligence integrated into it that makes the phone easier to use.
With the new version, users may swipe right from the home page to view a curated collection of articles and other information using the “Discover” function.
The latest version includes Material You, which enables users to change the colour scheme of their smartphone to match the wallpaper.
After setting the background image, users will get four comparable colour schemes to pick from. The user will feel more special using the device as a result.
The update also includes options for “App Language Preferences,” “Notification Permissions,” and other features
The business stated in a blog post that “our goal with this version is to support more possibilities for the millions of current and prospective owners of an Android Go device.”
In 2023, additional gadgets with Android 13 (Go edition) would be released, it added.
