The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced on Monday that the Delhi Metro has extended its last train times to help spectators during the One-Day International Cricket match between India and South Africa set for Tuesday at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Ferozshah Kotla Ground, New Delhi.
All lines’ schedules have been extended, with the exception of the Airport Express route. On the Violet Line, which runs along the Kashmere Gate to Raja Nahar Singh corridor, the stadium is close to the Delhi Gate and ITO Metro stations.
The DMRC reported that by extending the last train times by roughly 30-45 minutes on all lines, the metro will run additional train runs.
The third one-day international between South Africa and India will start at 1:30 pm and last till late at night.
The last train on the Red Line will now depart from New Bus Adda station at 11:50 p.m. instead of the usual hour of 11 p.m.
