According to Machilipatnam MP Vallabhaneni Balashauri, international flight services that the people of the Vijayawada region have been eagerly awaiting will begin on Tuesday from the Vijayawada airport.
Every Monday and Saturday at 9.05 p.m., Air India Express will operate a flight from Vijayawada to Sharjah (Dubai). According to Balashauri, flights will depart Vijayawada for Muscat at 1:15 p.m. on Saturdays and for Kuwait at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Local lawmakers and Vallabhaneni Balashauri, the chairman of the Vijayawada Airport Advisory Committee, will greet the maiden Sharjah flight when it lands this evening.
