IndiGo launches 3-day winter sale; prices for domestic flights start at Rs 2,023

The airline further added that this offer cannot be clubbed with any other offer, scheme, or promotion.

India’s low-cost airline IndiGo has announced a three-day winter sale for domestic and international flights on the 6E network, across all channels, as the Christmas season draws near.

The business states that the sale will take place between December 23 and December 25, 2023, and that domestic ticket prices would start at Rs 2,023 and international flight prices at Rs 4,999. The promotion is applicable for travel between January 15 and April 14, 2023.

Vinay Malhotra, head of worldwide sales at IndiGo, said that the action intended to commemorate the “aviation sector’s” revival. “More and more people are flying as we approach the year 2023. In addition to celebrating the robust recovery in the aviation industry during the Christmas season, we are also announcing our winter sale for both local and international flights. This deal reaffirms IndiGo’s dedication to reasonable prices, punctual service, friendly staff, and hassle-free travel throughout our extensive network,” he continued.

With a fleet of 290 aircraft, the airline says it connects 76 domestic and 26 foreign destinations with more than 1,600 flights every day.

Discounts will be given to consumers subject to availability and at the sole discretion of IndiGo because, according to the airline, there is limited inventory available under the offer. Additionally, only non-stop flights in different sectors of IndiGo’s domestic and international network are eligible for the promotion. Customers can also take advantage of rebates from HSBC, a partner bank of IndiGo.

The airline also said that this discount cannot be combined with any other campaign, plan, or offer. Additionally, group reservations made on IndiGo are not eligible for the promotion. The airline made it clear that this offer is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-encashable.

A recent survey claims that Indian airlines carried 1.14 crore passengers in October, 10% more than they did in September, according to PTI.

Data from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) revealed that domestic aviation traffic increased by about 27% to 114.07 lakh in October from 89.85 lakh in the same month last year. The amount of aviation traffic was 103.55 lakh in September.
