It is rumoured that WhatsApp’s multi-device capability will receive a significant update. Users will be able to send messages to themselves via a linked device thanks to a function being developed by the Meta-owned firm for connected gadgets.
A image posted by WaBetaInfo indicates that the user number would appear when looking up contacts in the WhatsApp desktop beta client. Users will be able to see their number while attempting to connect into WhatsApp from a different mobile device after the update is made available in the stable version. Both Android and iOS smartphone users may soon get access to the capability.
Additionally, it is rumoured that WhatsApp is developing a new “Report Bugs” feature that would appear in its settings. Currently, WhatsApp provides a “contact us” button that allows users to report any problems with the programme. They can report bugs to the business using the new section. Users will be able to report bugs by including optional screenshots and a description.
