During his visit to Gujarat University to meet with students on the theme of ‘New India for Young India,’ Chandrasekhar stated that the government is striving to develop an institutional framework for Digital India Startup Hub to further foster the country’s startup ecosystem.
“Soon, an institutional structure called the Digital India Startup Hub will be built to boost the startup ecosystem and centrally coordinate startup efforts at the national level. The government is attempting to link entrepreneurs with its ecosystem in order for government procurement criteria to be addressed with new solutions developed by startups “He stated.
The minister emphasized the need of developing digital skills for India’s growing digital economy.
Going ahead, the slogan will be “innovation, innovation, and more innovation.” Our future will be driven by innovation. Our entrepreneurs and startups will propel the Indian economy to USD 5 trillion and Digital India.
“The economy is approaching USD 1 trillion,” said Chandrasekhar, who is also the Minister of State for Electronics and Information Technology.
He said that there has never been a better time for the youth to prosper than in the new India that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is constructing.
“Prior to 2014, entrepreneurship was an exception rather than the rule or the norm.” “There has never been a better time for young Indians to flourish than now, due to the aggressive initiatives of the Narendra Modi administration and the Gujarat government,” the Union minister added.
